Welcome to DiasporaCare ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our healthcare coordination services designed for Nigerians living abroad who want trusted, ongoing medical care for their family back home in Nigeria.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access our services.

2. Service Description

DiasporaCare provides healthcare coordination services including but not limited to:

  • 24/7 access to doctors through virtual consultations
  • Basic health checkups and routine care coordination
  • Medication reminders and prescription refills
  • WhatsApp updates after every appointment
  • Treatment coordination for common conditions (Malaria, Typhoid, Flu, minor body pains and allergies)
  • Credit assurance for medical emergencies
  • Monthly health status reports to sponsors
  • Laboratory and diagnostic test coordination
  • Chronic condition management (additional fee applies)
  • Maternity care coordination (additional fee applies)
  • Elder care concierge services (additional fee applies)

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Information

You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your beneficiaries. You must promptly update any changes to this information.

3.2 Beneficiary Consent

You must obtain proper consent from all beneficiaries before enrolling them in our services. You represent that you have the legal authority to make healthcare decisions for minor beneficiaries.

3.3 Payment Obligations

You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected service plan on time. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.

4. Service Plans and Pricing

4.1 Available Plans

  • Core Plan: $19/month or $199/year - Individual coverage with basic consultation credits
  • Family Plus Plan: $49/month or $499/year - Comprehensive family coverage for up to 4 beneficiaries
  • Essential Care Individual: $25/month or $250/year - Routine care and check-ins
  • Essential Care Family: $45/month or $450/year - Family plan with discounted rates

4.2 Additional Services

  • Maternity Care: Additional $15/month
  • Chronic Care Management: Additional $12/month per condition
  • Extended Elder Care: Additional $30/month for up to 6 beneficiaries

4.3 Credit System

Consultation credits and medication/lab credits are included in your plan. Unused credits may roll over for up to 3 months as specified in your plan details.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your health information. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy and as necessary to provide healthcare coordination services.

6. Limitations and Disclaimers

6.1 Service Limitations

DiasporaCare is a healthcare coordination service, not a healthcare provider. We coordinate care with licensed healthcare providers in Nigeria but do not directly provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or emergency services.

6.2 Emergency Situations

Our services are not intended for emergency medical situations. In case of medical emergencies, beneficiaries should immediately contact local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital.

6.3 Geographic Limitations

Our services are currently available only for beneficiaries located in Nigeria. We work with healthcare providers primarily in major Nigerian cities.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

7.1 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to services until the end of the paid period.

7.2 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. Refunds for annual subscriptions will be prorated based on unused months. Refunds may take 5-10 business days to process.

8. Liability and Indemnification

8.1 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DiasporaCare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

8.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DiasporaCare from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by DiasporaCare and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction to be specified]. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
